Knapp Auto Repair

Took my car to this place after the AC stopped blowing cold air. I was charged 1000.00 to get it fixed but when I asked for an itemized receipt, I was given an ad pamphlet instead. When I texted back to tell the guy who owns the place, that he’d only given me a price list pamphlet, his reply back “uh ohhh”. I did not ever get the itemized receipt to show the work done or if there was a new AC put in my car. I now realize that all I needed was to add refrigerant to the system. When I contacted the shop to say that my AC wasn’t cooling as much as it should be, I got the response “we had it down to 51 degrees. I paid 1000.00 for trash work. Shady as hell business.

These guys have integrity. I took my car here after my catalytic converter got stolen off my car. They quickly and politely diagnosed the issue, and informed me that the car was safe to drive back to Houston (where I am from) to a mechanic of my choice. Really appreciated their help.

My car broke down while I was visiting family out of state. Knapps had me back on the road within a couple of hours. Reliable, Affordable, & Friendly. Thanks again!

Knapp auto repair was the 3rd shop I’d been to for an air suspension issue on a 2016 Jeep. They offered to look at it free of charge, and somehow fixed the issue. I’d spent hundreds of dollars on diagnostics, I was frustrated and didn’t have much faith in this shop, but they have definitely restored that. My car was almost immobile for months until I found them. I will be using them again. Thank you so much.

Knapp Auto Repair was the best mechanic that I have had in a long time. A few weeks ago when my battery died in my apartment garage, they drove to my apartment and drove my car for me to their auto repair shop. That was above and beyond to come to my apartment and assess my car in the garage. They even did a once over on other parts of my car and offered repair options but did not pressure me to get anything else done with them besides a battery exchange. The pricing was also very fair and they kept me updated the whole time. I would recommend them to anyone!
